trying my hands on tour guiding :p

I've been up and about Albay and CamSur for the past 5 days, touring some soon to be relatives and friends from Manila.
Driving and touring Albay was heck of a work. Considering that I've spend less time exploring my own home town. from the places we've been to, some I have never tried visiting before.Plus the fact that I've never had to do tour guiding on my own, ever. I'm usually the one tagging along with balikbayan relatives. The first in my book, and so far, I did exceptionally well- according to them, that is :D

The Albay trip for the Taor-Cayanan group was of works for the past 2 months already. I've been planning itinerary for them since May. I was suppose to visit Virac, Catanduanes for a weekend before they tour Albay, but I had to change my itinerary last minutes coz my family had to celebrate my Mom's birthday.

And because of my work, I had to intertwine my itinerary for the relatives with my itinerary for my Manila friend.

2 days of touring Albay was fun and tiring- in a good way.

places we went to:
Lignon Hill
Cagsawa ruins
Kawakawa
Mayon resthouse
Balogo farm resort

Touring Camsur was beyond tiring with endless commuting but the experience made the travel all worth our time.

we had to wake up and leave for Camsur as early as 3am, had to endure bus trip of almost 2 hours from Daraga to Anayan. then an hour jeepney ride from Anayan to Goa, and another 30 minutes jeepney ride from Goa to Sabang port. ferry ride of 2 hours from Sabang port to Guijalo port. 5km trike ride from port to seaside hotel at Caramoan island. almost an hour of bumpy- ATV like trike ride to reach our destination.
Our island hopping starting by noon
Lahos Island, Matukad Island,Cagbalinad Island,Honungan Island,Busdak Island : all equally breath taking.
I wanted to go to Gota Island to inquire regarding their facilities, but we were not permitted to because SURVIVOR INDIA is currently filming on the Island.

after an overnight stay at Caramoan, we dropped by CamSur watersports complex before going back to Albay.
Lucky for us, Governor Lray Villafuerte was in CWC when we arrive.
Wake board, swimming, photo ops plus some relaxing by the pool was a great way to end our long trip.
