Last week my dad hired someone to cut down our 30 + years old Mango tree. The tree my grandfather planted. The tree the grew Indian mangoes during off season. The tree I tried to climb when I was in grade 1. The only tree we have on our yard.

Dad said, the roots are ruining the foundation of our house, and our roof, and the weak gate,not to mention all the branches outside are intertwined between cables, which will do more damage during typhoons.

A bit sad moment for me :(
